2. Description of Service

Opus Translate is a Shopify application that provides AI-powered translation services for your store content, including:

• Product titles, descriptions, and metadata
• Collection titles and descriptions
• Static page content
• Blog articles
• Navigation menus

3. Account and Registration

To use Opus Translate, you must:

• Have an active Shopify store
• Install the App through the Shopify App Store
• Grant the necessary permissions for the App to function
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date account information

4. Subscription and Billing

4.1 Free Plan: We offer a free tier with limited features and usage quotas.

4.2 Paid Plans: Premium features are available through paid subscription plans. Billing is handled through Shopify's billing system.

4.3 Billing Cycle: Subscriptions are billed monthly through Shopify.

4.4 Refunds: Refunds are handled according to Shopify's refund policies for app subscriptions.

4.5 Price Changes: We reserve the right to modify pricing with 30 days notice. Existing subscriptions will be honored until the end of their current billing cycle.

5. Usage Limits

Each subscription plan includes specific usage limits:

• Number of products that can be translated
• Monthly translation task quota
• Access to certain features

Exceeding these limits may result in service restrictions until you upgrade your plan or the next billing cycle begins.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Use automated systems to abuse the translation service
• Transmit content that is harmful, offensive, or violates third-party rights
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
• Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization

7. Intellectual Property

7.1 Our Rights: The App, including its code, design, features, and documentation, is owned by Opus Translate and protected by intellectual property laws.

7.2 Your Content: You retain all rights to your store content. By using our Service, you grant us a limited license to process your content for translation purposes only.

8. Translation Quality

While we strive to provide high-quality translations using advanced AI technology:

• Translations are provided "as is" without guarantees of accuracy
• We recommend reviewing translations before publishing
• You are responsible for the final content published on your store
• We are not liable for any errors in translated content

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

• The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim
• We are not responsible for third-party service outages (Shopify, translation providers)

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Opus Translate and its affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of third-party rights.

11. Termination

11.1 By You: You may uninstall the App at any time through your Shopify admin.

11.2 By Us: We may suspend or terminate your access for violation of these Terms or for any other reason with notice.

11.3 Effect: Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases. Data deletion follows our Privacy Policy.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting to our website. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.
